Remembrance Day - Veterans Day

Remembrance Day is a memorial day observed in Commonwealth countries since the end of Worl War I to remember the members of their armed forces who have died in the line of duty; it's observed on 11 November.
The common British, Canadian, South African, and ANZAC tradition includes either one or two minutes of silence at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month (11:00 am, 11 November), as that marks the time (in the United Kingdom) when the armistice became effective. The remembrance poppy has been used since 1920 to commemorate soldiers who have died in war.

Veterans Day is an official United States holiday that honors people who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, also known as veterans. It is a federal holiday that is observed on November 11. It coincides with other holidays such as Armistice Day and Remembrance Day,which are celebrated in other parts of the world and also mark the anniversary of the end of World War I
